GIRLS hosts gear drives at local parks and school chapter locations throughout the year. Drop off your gently used athletic gear — cleats, shoes, shin guards, sports bags, and more — at any active collection site during posted hours. No appointment needed. Everything donated stays local and goes directly to female student-athletes in your community at no cost to them.

Follow us at @girlpowerinsports or contact your local chapter to find the nearest drop-off location.

All donated items are collected, sorted, cleaned, and distributed free of charge to female student-athletes in our community who need them most. We accept cleats, basketball shoes, cheer shoes, shin guards, soccer shorts, sports bags, water bottles, helmets, and any sport-specific equipment in good wearable condition. Items should be gently used — clean, free of major damage, and ready to be worn again.

Gear drives at local school chapters work the same way — if your school has a GIRLS chapter, drop-off boxes are available at the chapter meeting location throughout the academic year. Students, teachers, parents, and community members are all welcome to contribute. No item is too small. A pair of outgrown cleats sitting in your closet could be the reason a girl makes the team.
